Maimonides at Cal
Invest one evening a week to explore the foundations of YOUR heritage. Through thought provoking discussion groups you will be encouraged to re-explore the deeper meaning of your roots. The MLF de-mystifies Judaism through weekly seminars on various topics fundamental to the core of Jewish thought. From the deeper meanings of Shabbat, to grappling with modern ethical issues, to insights into love and relationships these topics and more will be covered over the course of eight weeks. The MLF seeks active intelligent individuals who aspire to be tomorrow’s leaders and who feel compelled to discover Judaism’s answers to life’s most critical questions. Competitive fellowship, application does not guarantee entry. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn a stipend towards a trip to Israel or the development of a personal Jewish library. For more details please e-mail Rabbi Kamin.
