Programs

Maimonides I
MLF is the optimum opportunity for the student to encounter a Judaism rich in wisdom which will challenge assumptions, broaden ethical horizons, and touch one's deeper humanity.  Join a select group of peers for this amazing 10-week course, highlighted by 2 weekend get-aways, 1 day trip, an array of guest-speakers and a thorough grounding in Jewish philosophy. Graduates are offered a  stipend upon completion of program.

Maimonides II
After the Fellowship, take it to the next level.  Study an array of new topics with fellow alum - with, of course, lots of great food.  Meets weekly for an hour.

Shabbos Hosting
Students and alumni are always welcome to our homes in Scranton, PA -   This semester, we will have a home in Ithaca for our students at Cornell University and Ithaca College. The food is outdone only by the warmth and camaraderie, spirited singing and thoughtful discussion.

Lunch and Learn
Join one of our weekly sessions for an hour of friendship, food, and discussion centered around the weekly Torah reading and Ethics of the Fathers. We meet in 104 West! at Cornell.

Advanced Classes
These weekly classes focus on specific areas of Jewish scholarship - from Hebrew reading to in-depth analysis of Torah passages, from Talmudic study to Kabalistic writings.  They are advanced in topic, but accessible even to beginners.

Personal Study
Have something specific to study?  A hectic schedule?  Want to do it one on one?  Our rabbis are willing and able to schedule time just for you.  You name the topic and preferred times.
