The Vaad

Ten weekly evening sessions, in which you can explore ethical concepts in Judaism in ways you never imagined. An opportunity to be part of an amazing group of creative and thoughtful fellow-students, in a project guaranteed to broaden your understanding of your roots, yourself, and the world.

One-on-One Learning

Anything you ever wanted to know about Judaism but were afraid to ask. Learn about any Jewish-related topic, according to your schedule, at the coffee shop of your choice. One time, several times, or weekly. Coffee’s on Meor!

Home-away-from-home on Campus

We offer free, home-cooked Shabbat meals on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons, festive holiday meals, Chanukah and Purim parties, and Passover Seders . . . all in a warm, relaxed environment. Come and bring a friend!

Chaburah

Yale students are paired up with Yeshiva students to study Jewish topics of your choice, in an informal yet stimulating Beis Midrash (Jewish Study Hall) atmosphere. Homemade refreshments provide physical and spiritual fuel for the evening.

Meor Israel

We take two trips to Israel a year: Winter Break and Summer, touring the land and uncovering its spiritual depths.
