Is a Jewish education required for acceptance?
No. There are no requirements regarding the level of Jewish education. In fact, the program is geared towards students with minimal Jewish educational background, and all concepts will be explained to allow the most inclusive participation.
You need to fill out our online form to start the process. Your local MEOR representative will contact you upon receiving your application.
On most campuses a payment of $400 is made upon completion of the fellowship at the end of the semester.
You must attend all seminars and off-campus events, including (but not restricted to) the blockbuster weekend trip and graduation dinner. Each missed seminar or event triggers a 10% deduction from the total stipend.
